Words were saidThe pain went deepI tossed and turnedI couldn’t sleep The more I thoughtThe more I burnedMy anger grewMy stomach churned The thoughts kept comingTo my mindWhy did you treat meSo unkind? A bitter seedWent in my heartWould I let it grow?Or stop its start?
